The scope of the contract includes the maintenance of critical electrical distribution infrastructure, including but not limited to Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs), Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), switch-fuses and associated LV switchgear assets. The services are required to support the safe, reliable and compliant operation of the Health Board's electrical distribution systems, helping to minimise the risk of electrical failure, fire, disruption to clinical services and impacts on patient care. Suppliers are invited to submit a tender under the Open Procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The procurement process will result in the award of a single-supplier contract ("the Agreement"). The services will be carried out at properties situated within the geographical areas of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.
