The service

Winnable, run by Alfie Dodridge, sends subscribers a digest of UK public-sector tender notices matched to the profile they give us, and publishes information about open tenders and contracts on this website. It is for business use.

Winnable is an independent information service. It is not part of, or endorsed by, the UK government or any buyer.

Accuracy

We summarise notices published by public bodies. Summaries, fit scores and "watch out" notes are produced with AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Notices can also change after we read them. Always read the official notice and tender documents before you decide to bid. Nothing we send is legal, financial or bid-writing advice. We don't promise that the digest includes every relevant tender.

Subscription, trial and cancelling

The subscription costs £29 a month (we are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added). It starts with a 14-day free trial. You don't need to give card details to start the trial. A week before it ends, Stripe (who handle our payments) emails you a link to add a card if you'd like to carry on. If you add one, the subscription starts at the end of the trial and renews every month until you cancel; if you don't, the trial simply stops and nothing is charged. You can cancel at any time from the "manage subscription" link in any email, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part months.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price.

Founding price: customers who subscribe while we offer the founding price keep that monthly price for as long as their subscription continues, including when the price for new customers goes up. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the price at that time applies.

Referrals

If you tell us about a firm that then subscribes to Winnable for the first time, you and that firm each get one month free once its first monthly payment has gone through. We apply the free month to your next bill. It has no cash value, can't be exchanged, and applies once per firm referred. We may end the offer at any time; referrals made before then still count.

Partners

Bid writers and tender consultants who join our partner scheme get a free Winnable account for 12 months, and a link that gives their clients a 30-day free trial instead of 14 days. A trial through a partner's link works exactly like the one above, just longer.

We pay a partner £50 for each client who starts their subscription through the partner's link and goes on to make their second monthly payment. We pay by bank transfer within 30 days of that payment. There's one fee per client and no cap. No fee is due for the partner's own account, or for a firm that was already a Winnable customer or on a trial. We may change or end the scheme with 30 days' notice by email; fees already earned are still paid.

Fair use

Your digest is for your own organisation. Please don't resell or republish it.

Our liability

We are not liable for lost contracts, lost profits or other indirect losses, or for decisions made on the strength of a summary. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will email subscribers about material changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
