Keyword alerts send every notice that mentions "survey". Winnable reads each one the way you would: is it your work, your area, a size you could win? And what's the catch?

Why I built Winnable
Every week, UK public bodies publish hundreds of new contracts. Councils, NHS trusts, schools and housing associations buying exactly what small firms do every day: surveys, repairs, training, research.
Most small firms only ever see a handful. Not because the work isn't there, but because finding it means checking a government website every morning, decoding phrases like "dynamic purchasing system", and reading forty pages to find out you needed ISO 9001 all along.
Bigger firms pay bid teams to do that sifting. Small firms don't have one, so too often the work goes to whoever can afford to look.
So I built Winnable to do that first job for you: read everything, keep the few that genuinely fit, and say plainly what each one wants and what could rule you out. It costs less each month than an hour of a consultant's time.

No. Winnable is independent. We read the government's own published notices from Find a Tender, the UK's official procurement service, and link to the original every time. You always bid through the buyer's own portal.
Every notice on Find a Tender, which since the Procurement Act 2023 includes smaller contracts as well as large ones across the UK. We add the open tenders found only on Contracts Finder (parish and town councils, colleges, housing associations and others still advertising there) and the smaller Scottish contracts found only on Public Contracts Scotland. Northern Irish contracts found only on eTendersNI aren't included yet, and some small council quotes are never advertised nationally at all.
Find a Tender's own alerts send every notice that matches your keywords and category codes, which you have to set up and keep tuning yourself. Winnable reads the same notices but judges each one against a plain description of your firm: your work, your area, the size you can win. It sends only the few that fit, each summarised in plain English with the catch spelled out, and every Monday adds the contracts in your field coming up for renewal. You can happily keep both. AI reads each notice, writes a short summary, picks out stated requirements that could rule a small firm out, and scores how well it fits your profile. Each catch carries the notice's own words, and one whose words aren't in the notice is dropped. It can still make mistakes, so the official notice is always one click away and is the thing to rely on. See a real example.

Councils must advertise contracts worth £30,000 or more (including VAT) on Find a Tender if they advertise them at all, and contracts above the legal thresholds (from January 2026, £207,720 for goods and services and £5,193,000 for works) always go there; Scottish councils use Public Contracts Scotland, and the documents sit on each council's own portal. No. The 14-day trial needs no card. A week before it ends, Stripe (who handle our payments) emails you a link to add one if you'd like to carry on. If you don't, the trial simply stops: nothing to cancel and nothing charged.
Every email has a "manage subscription" link. Enter your email there, Stripe sends you a one-time code, and you can cancel straight away; you won't be charged again. Or just reply to any email saying cancel. There's no annual contract.
Where we can find them, each tender shows past contracts for the same kind of work from the last 30 months: what they went for and who won them, taken from the award notices on Find a Tender and Public Contracts Scotland. Values are as each award notice states them and cover the contract's whole term: most are before VAT, but about one notice in seven gives only a figure including VAT. AI picks which past contracts are genuinely comparable, so treat it as a guide to pricing, check what each one included, and always read the official notice.
