What the buyer says
Leeds City Council Adult Health & Social Care Directorate is pleased to announce an upcoming commissioning opportunity for the delivery of day opportunity services for adults with learning disabilities across Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for organisations to play a key role in shaping the future of day opportunities across the city and to support people to achieve positive, person-centred outcomes. Leeds City Council is keen to use this opportunity to develop, diversify and strengthen the day opportunity market in Leeds, encouraging innovative approaches that promote choice, inclusion, independence and community connections. The contract is expected to commence in April 2027. To support providers interested in this opportunity, we will be holding an online market engagement event, giving organisations the chance to learn more about the commissioning intentions and ask questions directly to the commissioning team.
