NHMF Frameworx is undertaking preliminary market engagement in relation to the proposed establishment of a dedicated Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Framework for Northern Ireland. The proposed framework is intended to provide NHMF members, housing providers and other public sector organisations across Northern Ireland with a compliant and flexible route to market for the delivery of mechanical and electrical works, services and associated maintenance. It is currently anticipated that the framework will provide separate opportunities for domestic and commercial works, recognising the different technical requirements, competencies, accreditations and delivery models associated with each area. The final scope and lot structure have not yet been determined and will be informed by this preliminary market engagement. The framework may include, but is not limited to: Electrical - Including, but not limited to: Electrical installation works; Electrical testing, inspection and certification; Electrical maintenance and remedial works; Fixed wire testing; Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), including equipment within homes, communal facilities, offices and associated ICT/server equipment; Consumer unit and distribution board replacement; Electrical upgrades and rewiring; Landlord and communal electrical systems; and Associated electrical compliance works. Security and Life Support Systems - Including, but not limited to: CCTV systems; Door entry and access control systems; Automated gates and associated controls; Intercom systems; Life support and assistive technology systems; Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair; and Associated monitoring and control systems.
