Following a competitive procurement undertaken in 2019, a contract was awarded for the provision of the Apperta Foundation's OpenEyes Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution for the management of ophthalmology services across NHS Wales. Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is now undertaking an informal Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to better understand current market conditions and supplier capabilities in advance of any potential future procurement activity.
